The AA’s recommended route from Bognor to Walton-on-Thames is 70.7 miles long and takes around an hour and 43 minutes. That route takes you over to Havant to pick-up the A3 before heading towards London. Anyway….

2. Approx two miles beyond the M25, you will come to the Painshill Junction. Branch left here and then, at the Painshill roundabout, take the first exit onto the A245 (signposted Weybridge, Byfleet).

3. Approx. ½ mile later, at traffic signals, turn right onto Seven Hills Road (B365, signposted Walton).

4. Half a mile later, at Queens Road roundabout, take the third exit onto the A317 (signposted Hersham, Walton)

5. Just over half a mile later, at roundabout, take the first exit onto Ashley Road, (B365, signposted Walton).

6. Approx ¾ of a mile later, at roundabout, take the third exit onto Stompond Lane.
