Travelling by car

The AA’s recommended route from Bognor to Merstham is 56.6 miles long and takes around an hour and a half. The route takes you up the M23 and the upper sections of the A23.

1. Join the A24 at Findon;

2. At Buck Barn crossroads, take the A272 towards Cowfold and Haywards Heath;

3. Join the A23 (later M23) and head towards London.

4. Leave the M23 at junction 9 and, at the roundabout, take the first exit onto the M23 SPUR.

5. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the A23 (signposted North Terminal, Air Cargo, Redhill).

6. Approx. 2½ miles later, at The Belfry roundabout, take the first exit onto the A25 (signposted Reigate).

7. Half a mile later, at the Lombard roundabout, take the second exit and rejoin the A23 (signposted London, Croydon).

8. Approx. 1¾ miles later, turn right onto Station Road South, then right onto School Hill

9. A few hundred yards later, bear left onto Bletchingley Road, then take the next right onto Worsted Road and, finally, the next right again into Weldon Way.

Travelling by Public Transport

The journey from Bognor to Merstham involves two changes; at Barnham and Redhill (see example below).

The station is just over half a mile from the football ground. Exit the station via the main entrance and take the road to your left (Station Rd South) past the car park. Proceed to the top of the road and turn left down School Hill. Weldon Way is the 5th turning on your right and the ground is 100 yards along Weldon Way.

Coming home

Trains leave Merstham (Platform 2) at 06 and 45 minutes past the hour. Just one change, at Redhill, eg
