Travelling by car
This is one of our shorter away trips. According to the AA, it is 36.6 miles from Bognor to Godalming and the journey should take you an hour and ten minutes. Start by taking your preferred route to Petworth. (Depending on your starting point, you might want to go…
• via Chichester;
• across country, through Eartham;
• up the A29 towards Pulborough, but turning-off for Petworth at Bury Gate.
Whichever route you choose, once you get to Petworth:
1. Take the A283 through Northchapel, Chiddingfold and Witley to Milford.
2. Approaching Milford, at roundabout, take 3rd exit onto the A286, signposted Godalming.
3. Approx half-a-mile later, at another roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A3100 (again signposted Godalming).
4. Continue on the A3100 for another 2¾ miles, in the process negotiating three more roundabouts.
5. Approx 800 yards after that third roundabout, turn left into Wey Court.
Travelling by Public Transport
