Travelling by car

1. Take the A23 (later M23) towards London;

2. At Junction 8, join the M25 anti-clockwise, signposted Dartford Crossing;

3. Approx 13 miles later, the M25 splits into two – continue forward on the M26 (signposted Channel Tunnel, Dover).

4. Ten miles later, continue forward onto the M20.

5. Leave the M20 at Junction 6 and take the first exit at the roundabout (signposted M2, Chatham, A229)

6. Stay on the A229, following signs for Chatham & Town Centre. You will pass a Homebase & Toys 'R' Us on the left hand side.

7. Continue straight over the next roundabout and, where the road divides, bear right for Chatham. You are now on Maidstone Road.

8. Continue straight ahead at the next cross roads and you will see a petrol station on your left. Bournville Road is opposite the petrol station on the left. Ground entrance is first left.

Travelling by Public Transport

The National Rail Enquiries website offers lots of different ways of getting from Bognor to Chatham by train. However, they all involve going via London and most take about three hours each way. The best option is probably the simplest; take a train from Bognor to Victoria, then catch a train direct to Chatham, as in the following example:

Chatham station is almost 1 mile from the ground. Turn right on leaving the station, then right again, and you are now on Maidstone Road. Continue up Maidstone Road till you pass a cemetery on your left and the ground is next left.
