BOGNOR suffered last-gasp heartbreak as Margate hit back from 3-1 down to draw at Nyewood Lane.
Gary Norgate, Jason Prior and Michael Birmingham were all on target for the Rocks, who were playing their first game since November 28.
Matthew Wood moved into midfield while new signing Harry Bowles started on the bench.
From the kick-off Margate looked the better of the two sides.
Tucknott had to be replaced on six minutes when he seemed to tweak his hamstring and had to come off to be replaced by Richard Greenfield.
On 14 minutes, Good work from Wood set up Greenfield on the right side but the winger’s cross was low and feeble and easily cleared.
The visitors were on the attack when Coonnelra played a square ball towards Blackman who curled his effort wide.
Prior tested the Margate keep before the visitors opened the scoring.
A corner curled straight on to the head of DUNCAN who headed past the diving Pernecky.
Prior then came closest as the Rocks went in search of an equaliser.
Bognor levelled the score on the hour mark when NORGATE was through on goal from a neat Ide through ball, beating the keeper to the ball to tap into an empty net.
Seconds later Blackman thought he was fouled inside the box after a Demetriou tackle but the referee waved away any chance of a penalty.
Bognor went ahead in the 69th minute when PRIOR volleyed home a decent chipped cross from Norgate.
The Rocks’ third goal came on 80 minutes when Ide played the wall in to Woods who was fouled.
The referee awarded a penalty and BIRMINGHAM slotted the kick home.
Margate clawed a goal back when JOSEPH headed in a Stubbs’ cross past the keeper.
And then netted a last-gasp leveller through sub Ben Clarke to break Rocks hearts.
