Jamie Howell and Darin Killpartrick have warned Rocks' fans not to get their hopes up as although Ben Johnson has returned to Rocks, it may only be short term as he is waiting for Dagenham & Redbridge to put a deal together.

So far Ben has played in the 2-1 win over Chipstead and scored in the mid-week victory over Croydon Athletic 2-0.

Dagenham wanted Ben to play for them in a mid-week fixture last January but it clashed with a top of the table game against Leatherhead.

The Daggers renewed their interest this summer but although Dagenham put him out on loan to Newport County in friendlies, it did not result in a firm deal.

Ben's last game for Newport County was against Real Betis in a friendly. Despite signing Ben for Rocks, Jamie and Dabba have said they will not stand in his way 'of playing pro football'.

How ever at the moment they are just glad to have him back playing for Rocks once more.
