Weekly News update from Nyewood Lane – May 3rd After last weeks update, very little to report this week! The Club’s committee meet during the coming week to consider a proposal which should allow the planned share issue to proceed, and an announcement will be made by 16th May. Thank you to all those who have expressed interest. You will receive an invitation to purchase shares as soon as the next step is confirmed. If any others would like to ensure they are on the list, please e-mail Simon Cook at sajcook2@aol.com. There has been considerable interest shown in the idea of discounted season tickets. The proposal will be discussed also by the committee, and next season’s prices will also be announced at the end of next week. It appears likely that a substantial discount will be offered in return for payment in advance of the beginning of the season. The Supporters Club “Players Night” takes place in the Social Club on Saturday 3rd May. Please note that Players Night is now full.Only people with official invites will be admitted.Could I also remind members that their invitation is for their use only,the invitation is non transferable. I'm sorry if this upsets some supporters but you have had ALL season to join the supporters club The club are working hard to attract a prominent league club as the main pre-season friendly.
