Over recent months the committee of Bognor Regis Town FC has become increasingly disturbed about SOME of the postings on the Bognor Regis Town FC Message Board.

Causing most concern have been the trading of personal insults and references regarding the private lives and business lives of those that use the message board that at times have almost been libellous.

The forum was set up as a communication tool between fans, officials and outside viewers to provide a place for debate and discussion on all things connected with Bognor Regis Town Football Club or football talk in general. It is only in recent times that the Administrators have had to remove or modify post after post due to its inappropriate content. Although, it must be added, modifying and deleting has happened since the board began it is only in recent times that this has had to occur more and more frequently.

The club has no wish to ‘gag’ anyone and recognises that everyone is entitled to their opinions.

The board has actively encouraged the forum by linking it to the club’s official website and members of the committee do use the message board to good effect on occasions.

The committee, however has decided that because of the distress caused to certain individuals and the image that is being portrayed of the club to the outside world, it has no choice but to cut its links with the message board. and clicking on the Bognor Regis Town icon at the top of the page.
